Now that tubing season has landed in Texas once again, there are a few do’s and don’ts that you will need to be aware of in order to ensure that you have a fun and safe time. Here are a few that you can make note of.

Do

*Help each other out by offering to blow air into someone else’s tube if they need it.

*Always make sure that you have plenty of drinks with you so that you can always stay hydrated.

*Be sure that you wear a life preserver while tubing, especially if you’re someone who isn’t that strong of a swimmer.

*Make sure that you take a break from your fun occasionally, such as placing your tube on the grass and laying down on it.

*Make sure that you properly apply sunscreen in order to avoid getting sunburned.

Don’t

*Be rude to any members of law enforcement that you may encounter while tubing, as like you, they’re also out in the heat handling all sorts of issues.

*Go too crazy while on your adventure, as this can end up causing you to get seriously injured or worse.

*Allow an amateur to act as your guide – this is something that will only result in something not so good happening to you.

*Underestimate any rapids, as doing so can cause you to be involved in a bad accident while tubing.

*Forget to bring a cooler, that way you can be sure you will have plenty on hand to drink whenever you need it.
